Privacy Policy

This policy explains how personal data is handled on www.gasma.com.tr under Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

1. Controller

The data controller is GASMA Organizasyon ve Danışmanlık. For privacy requests, contact satis@gasma.com.tr.

2. Data we collect

• Contact form: name, email address, telephone number, selected event type, message and consent/notice record.
• Technical usage data: visited page, referrer, device, browser and approximate country, generally in anonymous or aggregated form.
• Preferences: language, whether the opening experience was shown, and your analytics choice, stored in localStorage or sessionStorage.
• Direct communications: information you choose to send by email, telephone or WhatsApp.

The site does not provide user accounts, payment processing or file uploads.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We process contact data to answer enquiries, assess service and quotation requests, take steps toward a possible contract, protect the site, improve performance and comply with legal obligations. Depending on the context, the legal basis is steps taken at your request before a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)), legitimate interests that do not override your rights (Art. 6(1)(f)), or consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). Under KVKK, corresponding bases include contract necessity, legal obligation and legitimate interests.

4. Analytics, cookies and browser storage

Umami

Our self-hosted Umami service provides basic audience statistics without cookies and does not store IP addresses. It runs independently of your cookie choice.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is optional and loads only after you select “Accept”. It may process usage, device and approximate location data and set analytics cookies. It does not load after “Reject”. You can withdraw consent at any time through “Cookie preferences”.

Essential preferences

Language, consent and opening-experience preferences are stored in your browser so the site can remember your choices. You can remove them in your browser settings.

5. Recipients and international transfers

Contact form data is sent through FormSubmit and may be processed on servers outside Türkiye or your country. If you consent, Google may process Analytics data. The site loads an icon font through jsDelivr, which may receive standard connection logs. If you choose the WhatsApp link, WhatsApp processes your data under its own terms. Personal data is not sold for marketing.

6. Retention

Contact and quotation correspondence is retained only as needed to resolve the request and meet legal obligations, generally for no longer than two years unless a longer statutory period applies. Browser preferences remain on your device until you clear them. Analytics data is kept for the period configured in the relevant service and necessary for the stated purpose.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, information about processing and recipients, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, or object to processing. You may withdraw consent without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal and lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. Under KVKK Article 11, you also have the rights listed in the Turkish version of this policy, including objection to adverse results produced solely by automated analysis and compensation for unlawful processing.

8. Requests and changes

Send a request describing your identity and request to satis@gasma.com.tr. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity. This policy may be updated when the site, services or applicable law changes; the current version is published here.
